It all began about seven months ago when I was working on a design project in Thailand. I received a call from an architect named Pninit, who opened the conversation with, “We must work together.” She had seen my work for Dori Kimhi and others and decided then and there that we had to collaborate. It was when we met that I discovered Pninit was an outstanding architect and even more amazing person to work with.

The discussion continued, detailing a very old building in Tel Aviv that she had recently taken on with the GroundCover and Painted Houses Ltd. group. The idea was to completely redesign the interior to fit the headquarters of GroundCover.

Upon my return to Tel Aviv, I met with her at the building, and the scope of the project was huge—four floors to be redone from scratch, not to mention creating the right art for the final interior spaces. With two drafts of my vision for the project, we set the wheels in motion: Pninit took charge of the architectural aspects, and I focused on the artistic elements.

The final plan was to cover all four floors with a mix of original works and adapted pieces, custom cut to fit various spaces. Fast forward 2.5 months, and the entire space was completed. Take a look.
